Yeah, someone’s been a busy bee
With the year coming to an end, I thought it’d be a good idea to bring in the new one with new layout and look. It’s pretty simple and cute with the cartoon Skelanimals, but at the same time dark — yanno, how I usually feel hah. I also thought it was a good idea since I start my internship on Monday (booooyah), and I probably won’t have the time considering. I really can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of the year.. just feels so surreal and sudden. It just seems as if there’s never enough time. Everyone starts thinking about resolutions and ways to change things, but I dwell on everything not yet accomplished. I’m going to be 24 years old, and this is how my life is supposed to be? Oh well.. Bring it on, 2010. Show me whatcha got.
Speaking of getting, I took the time (there’s that damn word again
) to take pictures of the presents I received. As for the armoire, I’ll post a picture of it with the legs attached soon.

1. 2010 Ed Hardy Tattoo Art calender.
2. Laptop podium from MainStays.
3. Jewelry armoire (yes, I am a dumbass — the stars aren’t on top, but on the drawers -_-) with the legs still not attached.

Wow another Christmas come and gone, and here I had planned to blog before the big day — no such luck, I guess. I do hope everyone had a great holiday, no matter how you celebrate! My Christmas wasn’t really all that great.. Got a few things including a laptop podium for the laptop (duh
) which will make transcribing a dream instead of a nightmare, a pink and white jewelry armoire that has pink stars on top (I’ll have to take a picture of it, it’s too beautiful to describe), a rice-filled wrist pad since my right wrist and hand tend to go numb at times, a mini George Foreman grill — The Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine (Thanks Dad
), a $25 dollar gift certificate to some chinese restaurant I’ve never even heard of, a few tops, and a belt from torrid, and a $100 check from the gparents that sadly went to bills minus the $10 I did use to buy myself the new Trapt CD “Only Through The Pain…” I believe I still have presents at my moms, but won’t get them until tomorrow. Psh, lame. I already knew the armoire was mine because I picked it out myself. I went to two different stores to get the damn thing, and sure as shit when I open it on Christmas day the screws that are supposed to come with it aren’t in the damn box. Monday I have to go to the hardware store and get some special fucking threaded screws. Stupid Fred Meyer.
We ended up going to the fil (father-in-law, from hence forth) Thursday afternoon since Chris had it and Friday off. We stayed til about noon on Christmas and then booked it back to the house to get ready so we could be at my dad’s around 2-2:30ish. It’s still very weird being there, knowing him and my stepmother are separated and that big house is now just his. The kids, including my niece Kaitlyn, were there and loved the presents I got for them. Score 1, big sister. My stepmom was there, so of course I put on the “pleasant facade” as usual and sucked it up for the holidays. Her mother, my grandmother Wendy by marriage, was also there (she used to live in Oregon, but once she was diagnosed with cancer, they moved her up here to be closer to the family). I have always, always adored Wendy. Out of all my step “family,” she was and has continued to be the one who’s the nicest to me and loves to converse with me. Whatever I say she laughs and always offers her input so I know she is actually actively listening and not just there, in the room like the rest of them.
Kristine, Angelica, Vanessa,
beara. 24 years old; yep, really. In short, I like a lot of things and dislike a bunch more.
This right here is my personal space and includes things that are quite questionable, trust me. Take a peek around and enjoy
your stay, but don't say I didn't warn ya.
