I know I’m a few days late, but happy Valentines Day! My V-day wasn’t too shabby — we ended up getting our tax return pretty quick since we filed online, and I may or may not have celebrated a little bit.. -Whistle-

Ooooo.. It’s been a little while since I’ve last blogged, and as usual there isn’t much to report. The last couple of weeks brought some computer problems, and it seriously got to the point where I was about to drop-kick the laptop off the patio. I apparently got a nasty virus (worm.Win32.Skynet) from being on Facebook and from accidently clicking on one of their stupidass ads they have on the side. -eyeroll- I had popups coming up from the friggan taskbar, telling me I was infected and to download this software from “Microsoft.” Riiiiiiight, I don’t think so. Anyway, long story short, I had to call in the big guns to fix the problem (ily!) Okay, I had to call them in twice because I had issues with my disk drive a few weeks later (the drive just disappeared after I tried to rip a CD). It was not a good week for me and technology apparently.

Despite all that bs, I did manage to finally get the portfolio finished. I decided to add my artwork to it as well, so it’s no longer a place for just my writing. I updated it with another layout, too. I like the new one a lot more than the previous one, bahaha. Whatcha think? There was a break in my transcription, so I took the opportunity to update the portfolio. Take a look and mabbe leave a comment?

Speaking of transcribing — it’s going great! Out of my 264 hours required to graduate both the program and the internship, I have obtained almost 200 hours so far. For the month of January I transcribed a total of 255 reports, and since the beginning of February I’ve done about 70. Some of them are pretty lengthy, sometimes hitting the 9 minute mark, but other times I get lucky and they’re only between 2-3 minutes a piece. Although, it doesn’t matter how long the dictation is if I can’t understand what the hell the provider is saying. Makes me wanna gnaw off my arm.

What else? Ooo… I did get a new affie — Jorden. You can visit her at geeky graphics; show some love, heh. I think that’s all for now.. who knows with me, though. I am still looking for more hostees! Someone out there needs a home, c’mon!
