Released August 2010. Current version is #20 drift away. Various programs used in the constant, relentless editing of all images/content include CPanel, MSpaint, Notepad, Pixie, PS Elements 5.0, and PSP Photo X2. Headers include the custom font OldNewspaperTypes.tff.
history lesson
Once upon a time… I, like everyone else it seems, started the webdesign craze years ago using Easy Designer or free hosting sites such as Envy.nu and Freewebs.com. Not one for confinement/constraints, I kicked that crap to the curb and asked a friend of mine, Bronagh, who at the time owned deaddesire.org, if she had room to host me. For a while I went that direction but then she lost her website or discontinued it (not 100% sure), and I was on my own again, unhappy with what free servers were offering or rather lack thereof.
Eventually I got off my butt and decided to learn all there was on owning/maintaining my very own space on the WWW. First I had to find a host, and after going down a few different avenues, I landed with future quest and registered the domain with their partner, dotster.
To be quite honest, the name February affair really holds no special connotation; I really just pulled it out of the air and liked how it sounded. As for Future Quest, I stayed with them for a while but was really displeased with the fact I had to pay to host anyone when/if I chose to. Must have been a year or so after I signed on with FQ that I started looking elsewhere only to come across just host. With a little help 
I managed to switch over to JH and was able to transfer February affair over to it’s new, improved home.
